About Dr. Shelly Ordon, N.D.
My name is Dr. Shelly Ordon and I am a Naturopathic Doctor, Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator and Mom. I have always been passionate about fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and pediatric health! Working with families is truly a blessing and watching them grow and become their healthiest selves is one of my greatest pleasures. Over the last 14 years of practice, I have also expanded my clinical focus to include digestive and hormone health, regardless of your stage in life. My goal is to educate, motivate and empower people to be active participants in their health care journey.

I graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010 and am in good standing with the College of Naturopaths in Ontario. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2018 and am the co-founder of Naturopathic Doula Group. I am also excited to be an Evidence Based Birth Professional.
When I am not seeing patients, I spend countless hours taking continuing education courses related to digestive, hormone, pediatric and women's health. I am also passionate about writing and love educating others about different ways they can optimize their health. I am a big believer that small changes can make BIG differences! I pride myself on my commitment to serving growing families regardless of what stage they are at in life.
My Philosophy
I believe that optimal health is more than the absence of disease. We are all a work in progress! Nutrition, nutritional supplements, botanical herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy and lifestyle counselling can help the body restore balance, function more efficiently and treat both underlying and obvious conditions. Every patient I see, regardless of age or stage, receives a comprehensive assessment and individualized, strategic treatment plan that accounts for every goal and concern. I believe that working integratively with Medical Doctors, Midwives, OB-GYNs and other Health Care Providers allows for the best possible patient outcomes.
